Spectacle Entertainment’s Majestic Star Casino has donated almost $25,000 to Humane Indiana over the past fifteen months, through the Spectacle ALL-IN program.

The Spectacle ALL-IN program includes a focus on local involvement and social responsibility through the work of the Majestic Star senior leadership team. Each property director is partnered with an area organization and a pledge of support through volunteerism and monetary contributions.

As part of the ALL-IN initiative, Majestic Star Casino Director of Marketing, Christi Hardesty, is partnered with and sits on the board of Humane Indiana. Over the past year Hardesty has worked closely with the Lake County organization to assist with fundraising initiatives.

Humane Indiana has a mission to lead the community in the humane treatment of all animals. The Lake County organization is comprised of a shelter and adoption center, a clinic that offers discounted services to underserved populations and a resale and consignment store. Humane Indiana also offers services for the rehabilitation of wild animals. Humane Indiana Wildlife admits injured or orphaned animals and cares for them until they are ready to return to their natural habitat.

“When choosing an organization to work alongside, Humane Indiana was a natural fit for me. My love and compassion of animals make the time spent with the group at Humane Indiana such a rewarding experience,” Hardesty stated. “It’s a commitment I’m more than happy to make.”

Through last year’s Paws in the Park event, a Give $10, Get $10 casino promotion and team member fundraising days, Hardesty and the team and guests at Spectacle Entertainment’s Majestic Star Casino have aided Humane Indiana as they provide loving, attentive and humane shelter and critical care to 10,000 animals annually.
