MISSION: To build strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Alongside volunteers, Habitat homeowners build their own homes and pay an affordable mortgage. Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries.

Through a partnership with the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, in cooperation with the Lake Area United Way and the Indiana National Guard, Spectacle Entertainment’s Majestic Star Casino assisted with food distribution across the region by providing food boxes to area families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
